Aidan Hart has been a full-time iconographer for over twenty-five years.  In 2009 he founded “The Diploma in Icon and Wall Painting”, which he teaches for The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts. In 2011 he founded “Aidan Hart and Co., Church Furnishers”, a maker of bespoke liturgical art.

His book “Techniques of Icon and Wall Painting”, published in 2011, has been widely reviewed as the most comprehensive work on the subject. Aidan’s vision is to help nurture high standards in liturgical arts, and work towards iconography that is both timeless and yet indigenous to the Orthodox Church in the West.
